Our CEO, Heidi Mattingly, has invested nearly all of her professional tenure in the healthcare industry. With our organization since May 2009, Ms. Mattingly oversees and directs all corporate functions for OrthoMaryland and Greenspring Surgery Center from strategic planning to physician recruiting to budgeting and forecasting.

Heidi is Board Certified by the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), an achievement she reached in 1996. Health care legislation in Maryland is another ongoing interest for our busy CEO.  She has provided legislative testimony in Annapolis on a variety of state healthcare initiatives and has addressed the Maryland Senate Finance Committee on a number of occasions.

Teambuilding and collaboration are fundamental traits in Heidi’s management style.   With her primary management team leading the way, the OrthoMaryland staff members are finding themselves involved in team projects, problem solving workgroups and taskforce endeavors.

In her free time, Heidi is a distance runner and can often be seen crossing the finish line of various Baltimore-area charity running events.  She is an amateur photographer, enjoys strength training, weight lifting and more recently cross-fit.  She is a certified Spinning instructor and a golfer.
