Chad C. Zooker, MD
A Baltimore native, Dr. Zooker graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland College Park with a self created major entitled the Neurobiological Basis of Sports Performance.
Dr. Zooker wrestled and played lacrosse and football in high school, said he chose orthopaedics because of the myriad types of injuries and the potential to help athletes at all levels get back to doing what they love. "I love the challenge of not just getting people back to regular activities, but getting them back to playing their sports", he said.
During his fellowship he served as assistant orthopaedic team physician for the Eagles, Phillies, Soul and St. Joseph?s University among other teams. Despite this time away for training, he has always been a devoted fan of the Ravens, Orioles and Terps - and is happy to be living back in Pikesville with his wife and two children.
